Technical Assistance

Street Level Health Project offers technical assistance and capacity-building support to organizations in the following areas:

 

How to develop basic health screening services for low-income communities

Cultural competency in working with hard-to-reach populations including those who are limited English proficient, low literacy, medically uninsured, men, immigrants and refugees

 

Basic mental health training for staff who work with Spanish-speaking populations (Spanish language only)

 

Basic HIV/AIDS education for staff who work with Spanish-speaking populations (Spanish language only)

We also provide health education workshops for the Latino community on the following topics:

Understanding Mental Health in the Latino Community, How to Manage Depression, Parenthood Training for Men and Women, Couples Communication, Mental Health Promotors Program
