Community Collaborations

Street Level advocates for just immigration policies that enhance the wellbeing of our community. We are members of Alameda County United in Defense of Immigrant Rights (ACUDIR) and have joined the growing movement to end Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Secure Communities program.

CPEHN/Having our say

We are a member of Having Our Say, a statewide coalition working to elevate the voices of communities of color in health care reform discussions and to ensure that solutions provide equal access to all Californians. The Coalition is comprised of over 30 community organizations.

Oakland ID

Street Level serves as a resource to the City of Oakland as it prepares to issue municipal identification cards to residents. We have advised the City on how to ensure that very low-income residents and recent immigrants can secure the ID cards.

East Oakland Building Healthy Communities

Building Healthy Communities is a ten-year campaign by the The California Endowment to support the development of neighborhoods where young people are healthy, safe and ready to learn. Street Level Health Project is one of the 15 members of the Steering Committee. The Building Healthy Communities Group of East Oakland is comprised of local grantees, partners, and community members.
