Health Access Program Co-Manager / Clinic Coordinator
Tanya came to learn about Street Level Health Project during a Public Health presentation at UC Santa Cruz. Soon after, she began to volunteer as a Health Navigator. This experience renewed her interest in community health from which she had been a part of in previous years.
Tanya has over 5 years of experience within the health field, including working within community health centers. This experience has proven to be beneficial to her new role as the Health Access Program Co-manager. This role incorporates her knowledge of health administration along with direct patient care.
Tanya has also taken on an additional role as the volunteer coordinator. She enjoys be able to connect community members and health students with a rewarding learning experience through Street Level’s various volunteer and internship programs.
In her free time she savors the Bay Areas finest craft beer and enjoys time with her kiddo and pets.
